Title:BTP Integration Architect
Locations: Remote
Duration: 6+ Months with Possible Extension.
Salary Range: $65 - $70/Hour on W2 Only (All inclusive) Applicant must be willing to work on W2.
 
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedBTP Integration Architect to work on theProject IVC. The ideal candidate will havedeep hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite and expertise in designing and implementing robust integration solutions within theSAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) ecosystem. The BTP Integration Architect will be responsible for designing API-led, event-driven, and batch integrations, leveraging SAP technologies and integrating with non-SAP platforms as well.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • BTP Integration Design & Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of integration solutions usingSAP BTP Integration Suite, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
  • Cloud Integration: UtilizeCloud Integration (CPI),API Management,Open Connectors, andEvent Mesh for event-driven integrations and seamless connectivity.
  • SAP Integration: IntegrateSAP S/4HANA (Public Cloud) with other SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Integration Architecture: Design API-led architectures, event-driven integrations, synchronous and batch integrations, ensuring scalability, resilience, and error-handling strategies.
  • Integration Patterns & Reusability: Define reusable integration patterns, templates, and accelerators to streamline future integrations and ensure efficiency.
  • Data Transformation & Connectivity: Implement canonical data models and transformation strategies, ensuring accurate data flow between systems.
  • Best Practices: Drive best practices for integration design, error handling, retries, idempotency, and resilience in complex integration landscapes.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with development teams, SAP consultants, and business stakeholders to ensure successful integration solutions and timely project delivery.
 
Required Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience inSAP Integration Technologies, particularly withSAP BTP Integration Suite.
  • Hands-on experience with key SAP BTP components including:
    • Cloud Integration (CPI)
    • API Management
    • Open Connectors
    • Event Mesh
  • Strong knowledge ofSAP BTP architecture concepts, such as global vs regional accounts, subaccounts, entitlements, Cloud Foundry, and Kyma runtime.
  • Proven experience inAPI-led architectures,event-driven integrations, andasynchronous/synchronous integrations.
  • Expertise in integration protocols and data formats includingOData, REST, SOAP, IDoc, andRFC.
  • Strong understanding oferror handling,retry mechanisms,idempotency, andresilience patterns in integration projects.
  • Experience in integrating with bothSAP S/4HANA (Public Cloud) andnon-SAP platforms.
  • Experience definingreusable integration patterns, templates, and accelerators to promote consistent, efficient integration practices.
 
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge ofCloud Foundry,Kyma runtime, and other cloud-native technologies.
  • Familiarity withSAP S/4HANA Cloud modules and integration capabilities.
  • Expertise in building scalable, secure, and resilient integration solutions in large enterprise environments.
 
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background inSAP BTP andintegration technologies, with at least10 years of experience. You will have a strong understanding ofcloud-based integrations, particularly using SAP BTP services, and will be skilled indesigning andimplementing enterprise-grade integration solutions. A solid track record of working inAgile teams, combined with your expertise inAPI management,event-driven architectures, anddata integration, will make you a perfect fit for this role.
