Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP on BTP Developer with 3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The candidate should have hands-on experience in modern ABAP development, the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), Core Data Services (CDS) views, OData services, and SAP BTP-based application development.
The candidate will work with functional consultants, technical architects, and business stakeholders to design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable SAP applications following SAP clean-core principles and modern SAP development standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain SAP applications using ABAP, Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP), and ABAP on HANA.
Design and develop CDS (Core Data Services) views, including associations, annotations, and view entities.
Build applications using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), including managed and unmanaged scenarios.
Develop and expose OData V2/V4 services for SAP Fiori and external application consumption.
Work with SAP BTP to develop cloud-ready applications and side-by-side extensions.
Implement business logic using behavior definitions, behavior implementations, validations, determinations, and actions in RAP.
Develop and enhance SAP Fiori/Fiori Elements applications in collaboration with UI developers.
Integrate SAP S/4HANA and other systems using REST APIs, OData, RFC, IDocs, and SOAP services.
Follow SAP Clean Core principles and use released APIs and extension points wherever applicable.
Perform debugging, performance tuning, unit testing, and defect resolution.
Prepare technical specifications, development documentation, and test scenarios.
Support integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployments, and production issues.
Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and project managers to deliver technical solutions.
