We're seeking an experienced and strategic BSA Officer to lead our Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and Fraud Prevention programs and play a key role in protecting our organization from financial crime.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Credit Union's designated BSA Officer, leading and administering the BSA/AML, CFT, and OFAC compliance programs.
- Oversee the Credit Union's fraud prevention and detection program, including payment fraud, account takeover, ACH, wire, check, debit card, and digital payment fraud risks.
- Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting, including SARs, CTRs, OFAC reporting, and other required BSA filings, while maintaining effective internal controls and risk assessments.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight of BSA and Fraud staff while fostering a strong culture of compliance and operational excellence.
- Partner with senior leadership, auditors, examiners, and law enforcement agencies to identify risks, investigate suspicious activity, and protect the Credit Union and its members from financial crime.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of related BSA/AML, compliance, fraud, risk management, or financial institution experience.
- Associate degree, specialized certification, licensing, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
- USA PATRIOT Act
- OFAC requirements
- NCUA regulations
- Consumer protection regulations
- Regulation E (Electronic Funds Transfer Act)
- Exceptional analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
Compensation = 70K-80K depending on experience
