Senior Software Engineer

Total Expert is looking for an experienced senior software engineer who enjoys solving problems and delivering high-quality software. We are looking for a team member who is motivated to move fast, innovate and collaborate to design and build solutions in the lead management area of the platform. You should excel at creating full stack software solutions, understand complex data flows and be passionate about using cutting-edge SaaS web-based technologies.

What you will be doing:

• Develop new features and platform capabilities, leveraging AI-assisted tooling
• Lead refactoring and decoupling efforts to migrate legacy components to microservices and APIs
• Collaborate and communicate cross functionally to identify requirements and deliver products
• Perform technical analysis and estimation and lead design solutions across development teams
• Mentor team members and provide production support through investigating and fixing issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience within a team environment
• Strong software engineering fundamentals (data representation, data structures, algorithms)
• Experience using AI-assisted tools within the SDLC (design, code generation, review and testing)
• Ability to decompose ambiguous, complex problems into incremental solutions
• Experience with object-oriented languages (C#, PHP, Java, etc.) and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
• Experience designing, building and maintaining scalable and responsive web services with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (Vue, React, etc.)
• Experience with queuing technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment automation
• Solid track record of building relationships, collaborating and communicating cross functionally
• Passionate about building great products and ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth culture

Compensation/Benefits: The anticipated base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $180,000 annually. Final total compensation offered is dependent upon the selected individual's qualifications and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance and other factors. As an employee of the company, you will be eligible to participate in the Employee Stock Option Plan.
