Quantum Platform Integration Staff Engineer

SkyWater Technology is searching for a Quantum Platform Integration Staff Engineerfor our Bloomington, MN site to support process integration activities on a Superconducting Josephson Junction based technology.

Responsibilities:

Working with external and internal groups on the development of Superconducting processes at SkyWater you will:

• Coordinate activities with process & tool engineers to fabricate prototype quantum superconducting devices for one of SkyWater’s customers.
• Participate in Structured Problem Solving meetings to resolve technology issues
• Implement process experiments for device characterization and improvement.
• Analyze and report experimental results to the team through program review meetings
• Document improvements through SkyWater’s Process Change Control business process
• Support the qualification milestones for new Superconducting offerings.
• Interface with Customers on technical requests and challenges.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors & Masters in an Engineering discipline, or PhD in in Electrical, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics or other relevant discipline.
• 3-6 years of experience (Bachelors & Masters) or new PhD Graduate
• Demonstrated knowledge of microelectronic device fabrication
• Work effectively as a team member with people from other groups
• Ability to extract, organize and analyze data (both electrical and physical)
• Working Knowledge with statistical analysis tools, DOEs, and SPC
• Able to communicate technical data and results to program leaders and managers
• Self-motivated with a drive to solve problems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with Superconducting Materials and Josephson Junctions
• Education: PhD work related to Quantum Devices
• Project Management skills and/or defined training.
