TheSiliconLabs Internet ofThings (IoT)Infrastructure Software team is anelitegroup of softwareengineersfocusedondevelopinginternaltools andframeworks.Our team has adeepunderstanding ofallaspects ofsemiconductor softwaredevelopment,includingembedded,object-orientedapplications,database, and webanalytics.

Whatyouwillneedtoknow?  

• Goodunderstanding ofdataarchitectures,includingdatamodels,databases,datawarehouses,datalakes, anddatalakehouses. 

• Evaluating andselectingappropriatetechnologies andtoolsfordatastorage,processing, andanalytics 

• Overseeingdataintegration,ETLprocesses, anddatapipelinestoensureefficientdatamovement andtransformation 

• Ensuringdatasecurity,privacy, andcompliancewithregulatoryrequirements 

• Monitoringdata performance,troubleshootingissues, andoptimizingdataprocessesforefficiency andscalability. 

• Writingcode inSQL and Python. 

• Experience with data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Grafana, or Tableau is essential for this role 

• Developing anddeployingInfrastructure-As-Code and CI/CDautomation (Jenkins). 

MinimumQualifications 

• Bachelor’sdegree in computerscience,StatisticsorMathematicsorrelatedfield. 

• 2-4yearsexperience indataanalysis. 

• Technicalproficiency in SQL and Python 

• Handsonexperience buildingreports anddashboardswithtoolssuchasPower BI andSuperset.Handsonexperiencewithglue,redshift. 

• Strongknowledge ofhowrelationaldatabaseswork andvariousschematypes–suchas  STARorSnowflake. 

• Experiencewritingqueriesfor MSSQL server,Postgres, Redshift and AWSAthenaorTrino. 

• Exposuretoanalysisusingmachinelearningrelatedprojects is a plus.Abilitytoworkindependently andcollaboratively in a teamenvironment 

QualificationsConsidered a Plus 

• Understanding ofautomated testenvironmentsfor hardwarevalidationor software QA 

• FamiliaritywithDevOpstoolsfor CI/CD andinfrastructure-as-code
