Print Center - Digitizer

Job Description:

Here at Abercrombie & Fitch Co. Global Home Office our team has access to an Innovation Design Center that houses a range of screen printing, embroidery, and wash machines and tools. In our Innovation Design Center our teams can create and produce screen printer apparel for our portfolio of brands. Digitizers will work closely with our other IDC team members, merchants, sourcing, and design to bring these ideas to life.

This job is located at our Innovation Design Center at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.

What Will You Be Doing?

Digitizer

• Convert artwork into production-ready embroidery files (DST, EMB, etc.) using digitizing software 
• Determine stitch types, densities, underlays, and sequencing to achieve the best visual and physical results 
• Review artwork and tech packs to ensure files align with design intent and garment specs 
• Test and refine files to ensure quality, efficiency, and consistency in production 
• Partner with Embroidery Technicians during sampling to troubleshoot and improve stitch outcomes 
• Make adjustments based on fabric type, garment construction, and machine capabilities 
• Maintain organized file libraries and naming conventions for easy access and version control 
• Support development work, including creating files for new techniques, placements, or materials 
• Flag potential production issues early (e.g., distortion, puckering, excessive stitch counts) 
• Understanding or interest in Tajima Pulse Digitizing Software
