The opportunity

We’re looking for aContent Creator to own Salonkee’s short-form social media content acrossFrench-speaking markets (France, Luxembourg, Belgium & Switzerland).

You’ll shape how our community sees Salonkee by turning B2B topics into memorable, engaging reels, stories and posts that salon owners actually stop for, watch to the end and share. From organic social content to paid campaigns and event activations, you’ll create videos that build engagement and generate leads.

We’re not looking for cinematic production. We’re looking for someone who understands what makes short-form content work on Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn - and can turn a strong idea into an engaging video with a phone and a clear point of view. You’ll also occasionally be part of the content yourself, whether speaking to camera, collaborating with colleagues or filming on location with salon owners.

What you will be doing

• Own the social media content strategy and execution for French-speaking markets (France, Luxembourg, Belgium & Switzerland) - organic social, paid campaigns, and event activations

• Handle the editorial calendar end-to-end: ideate concept, write the hook and script, organize the shoot, shoot (mostly phone-first), edit, caption and publish.

• Transform complex B2B concepts and product features into memorable, unique & engaging posts/reels/stories that resonate with salon owners, and create video content that drives two outcomes: authentic engagement with our salon community AND lead generation for Salonkee.

• Appear in our content when the concept calls for it: introducing a feature, interviewing a salon owner, doing a talking-head explainer or an event recap, sometimes solo, often alongside colleagues or clients. You're comfortable speaking to the camera in French, and just as comfortable directing others who aren't used to it.

• Manage relationships with our influencer ambassadors in relation to social media content; coordinate content collaborations and ensure alignment with our overall content strategy

   

What you need to have

• 2–3 years creating social content for a brand, an agency, a creator business or your own account.

• Fluency in French : you'll be speaking on camera and writing for a French-speaking audience, so it needs to sound natural, not just correct; and fluency in English: to collaborate with the team.

• Proven experience creating organic & paid short-form content, backed by a portfolio, your own account, or videos you've made for a brand.

• Comfortable with video editing tools such as CapCut, Edits or DaVinci Resolve, as well as AI tools to boost efficiency, quality and optimization of content. You don't need to be a post-production specialist; you need to cut a reel so it holds attention.

• Comfortable in front of the camera. You won't be in every video, but when a concept needs you to speak to the lens, host a conversation or appear alongside a salon owner, that should feel natural, not stressful.

• Exceptional ability to translate B2B/technical concepts into accessible, engaging video content.

• Deep understanding of social media trends and platform algorithms across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

• Flexibility to travel occasionally (10%) for shoots and professional events
