Broadcom Development

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and enhance User Space SmartNIC solutions using strong C programming skills.
• Design, develop, and optimize SmartNIC applications with focus on high-performance networking and low-latency packet processing.
• Work on DPDK-based packet processing, RDMA communication, and RoCEv2 implementations.
• Develop solutions using RDMA libibverbs, InfiniBand, NVMe-oF, SPDK, User Space Drivers, Kernel Bypass, Zero-copy, and PMD (Poll Mode Driver) technologies.
• Participate in hardware bring-up activities involving PCIe, BAR Mapping, DMA, PF/VF, and related low-level networking components.
• Perform performance analysis, tuning, and optimization across Linux-based systems and networking stacks.
• Work on congestion control, lossless Ethernet, traffic shaping, rate limiting, and buffer management functionalities.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to deliver scalable network acceleration solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex networking, driver, and embedded software issues.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and implementation of next-generation SmartNIC features.

Mandatory Skills

• DPDK

• Strong expertise in C Programming.
• Broadcom SDK Experience.
• Strong knowledge of L2 and L3 Networking.
• Embedded Software Development experience.
• Strong development experience in User Space SmartNIC development.
• Experience with InfiniBand, NVMe-oF, SPDK, User Space Drivers, Kernel Bypass, Zero-copy architecture, and PMD (Poll Mode Driver).
• Hardware bring-up experience related to PCIe, BAR Mapping, DMA, PF/VF, and associated technologies.
• Strong understanding of Linux internals, system architecture, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with congestion control, lossless Ethernet, traffic shaping, rate limiting, and buffer management.

Good to Have

• AI workload acceleration knowledge.
• HPC (High Performance Computing) domain experience.
• Experience with advanced networking and infrastructure acceleration technologies.
