A Day in the Life 

Formerly known as Epic Environmental, the Australian arm of Onterris has kept the strong culture we are well known for. The team continues to work closely with clients, building trusted relationships and delivering high-quality outcomes without an overemphasis on KPIs.

Our teams have the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders, auditors, and professionals with vast experience within our industry, while enjoying regular social events and collaborative work that bring the team together. We are seeking a Principal Environmental Scientist to join our growing Assessment and Approvals team, working our in thriving Brisbane office where you will be responsible for a full range of activities including: 

• Performing business development by bringing in new clients to the business 

• Presenting and leading external meetings with clients 

• Successfully managing multiple projects at any one time 

• Developing and reviewing quality management systems 

• Mentoring and training junior staff 

Your Expertise and Skills 

These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here. 

• 15+ years of experience within environmental consulting 

• Tertiary qualifications from a recognised institute in Environmental Science or related field 

• In-depth knowledge of environmental approvals and impact assessments for the Queensland resources sector 

• Proven experience with EIS, PRCP and EA approvals
