About the Role

The Quality Lead is responsible for leading and continuously improving Bridge Carbon's Quality Management System (QMS) across carbon projects and business operations. This role ensures audit readiness, robust documentation systems, effective quality controls, and compliance with relevant carbon standards, methodologies, internal policies, and quality frameworks.

Working across multiple countries and business functions, the successful candidate will drive the implementation of Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) processes, strengthen governance and assurance activities, and embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

This role reports to the Head of Carbon Operations and leads a team including the Data & MRV Lead andCountry Quality Assurance Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve Bridge Carbon's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Develop and maintain quality processes, SOPs, document control systems, and audit frameworks.
• Ensure organisational audit readiness and support verification and validation activities.
• Oversee the implementation of MRV processes across multiple countries and carbon methodologies.
• Drive data quality, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead internal audits, corrective action processes, and quality reviews.
• Partner with operational, carbon, compliance, finance, HR, and technology teams to strengthen governance and performance.
• Mentor and support quality teams across Africa and Asia.

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience working with recognised carbon standards such asVerra,Gold Standard, or similar frameworks.
• Experience supporting or leading validation and verification audits.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems, ISO 9001 principles, SOP development, document control, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to build or improve quality systems and operational processes.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
• Experience working across multiple countries, cultures, and operational environments.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites and country offices.
  

Qualifications

• Master's degree in environmental science, Engineering, Sustainability, Quality Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer certification is advantageous.
