What You’ll Do 

This is a senior individual contributor role on RightMove’s Analytics team, responsible for measuring and proving the impact of our care model. 

As Senior Healthcare Economics Analyst, you will own the analyses that quantify how RightMove affects outcomes, utilization, experience, and total cost of care for internal decision-making and for the employers and health plans who buy our solution. 

You will work across claims, EHR, and provider network data to evaluate care interventions and technology investments, identify savings opportunities, and translate findings into recommendations that shape clinical, product, and network strategy. 

This role owns the evidence base behind RightMove’s value story: the measurement methodology, the savings math, and the customer-facing analyses that prove the value of a differentiated care model. 

What You’ll Own 

Outcomes & Savings Measurement 

• Own internal and customer-facing analyses that measure how RightMove’s care model affects outcomes, utilization, experience, and total cost of care 

• Evaluate the financial and clinical impact of care interventions and technology investments, including virtual physical therapy, remote monitoring, and other MSK care delivery programs 

• Build and maintain comparison groups, risk adjustment approaches, and measurement methodologies that hold up to external review 

Claims & Network Analytics 

• Translate complex medical data into practical recommendations that improve savings, quality, and patient navigation 

• Analyze referral patterns, provider performance, and market-level dynamics to identify opportunities to guide patients to high-value care 

• Size and prioritize cost reduction opportunities across the MSK episode 

Measurement Infrastructure 

• Partner with Data Engineering to build scalable datasets, dashboards, and measurement frameworks 

• Define reusable measurement standards so recurring reporting is repeatable rather than rebuilt each cycle 

• Document methodology so results can be reproduced and defended over time 

Customer-Facing Communication 

• Communicate findings clearly through executive-ready analyses, customer-facing reports, slide decks, and white papers 

• Present results and methodology directly to employer and health plan stakeholders, including their analytics and business teams 

• Support Commercial and Partner Success teams in renewal, expansion, and new business conversations

Minimum Qualifications 

• 3+ years of analytics experience in a value-based care setting, such as a payer, risk-bearing provider group, ACO, or healthcare technology company operating under at-risk contracts 

• Direct experience evaluating program or intervention savings, including building appropriate comparison groups, applying risk adjustment, and accounting for common confounders such as selection effects and regression to the mean 

• Deep working knowledge of medical claims data (structure, limitations, and analytic pitfalls) 

• Demonstrated experience querying large claims datasets using SQL in a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks 

• Proficiency in Excel and at least one scripting language (Python or R) for analysis 

• Master’s degree in health economics, public health, health services research, biostatistics, or a related field, or equivalent applied experience in a quantitative healthcare analytics role 

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of translating analytic findings into clear business and clinical implications for non-technical audiences 

• Comfortable with AI tooling and able to leverage Claude Code and Snowflake Cortex to increase the speed and rigor of analytics deliverables 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with musculoskeletal care, specialty care, virtual care, provider network analytics, or population health programs 

• Experience producing client-facing outcomes and ROI reporting, including presenting results directly to employer or health plan stakeholders 

• Familiarity with analytics engineering practices (dbt or similar frameworks) and dashboard development workflows 

• Experience partnering with actuarial teams on savings validation or contract performance measurement

• Skeptical of your own numbers, and instinctively look for what could explain a result other than the intervention 

• Can explain a methodology to a non-technical audience and defend it to an actuary 

• Comfortable working with incomplete and imperfect healthcare data without overstating what it supports 

• Organized enough to run recurring reporting alongside ad hoc requests 

• Direct about what an analysis does and does not show
