Role Description

The Manager – Judiciary and Government is a full time, on site role based in Delhi NCR. This person will own the Judiciary and Government segment end to end, and will lead a Team Leader and a team of Senior Account Executives.

The role is measured on one number: segment target attainment, backed by tender win rate, new empanelment, deal cycles against plan and collections on government invoices.

Few people need faster, more reliable legal research than India's courts and government legal teams, and few buyers are harder to reach. Deals move through tenders, empanelment and long procurement cycles, and they are not done until the payment is collected. The Manager will build the motion that brings Lexlegis.ai into courtrooms, tribunals and government legal departments across India. This includes building trust with Registrars and judicial officers of High Courts and district courts, Law Secretaries and State law departments, tribunal registrars, PSU legal heads, Judicial Academies and Bar and Bench associations.

Day to day responsibilities include:

• Owning the Judiciary and Government segment end to end, across High Courts, district and subordinate judiciary, tribunals, State law departments and PSU legal teams

• Carrying a personal number while leading the segment

• Building a repeatable tender and empanelment motion, covering GeM listings, e-tender responses and rate contracts

• Managing long procurement cycles through to collection, not just to award

• Leading a Team Leader and Senior Account Executives to consistent attainment

• Setting the playbook the team uses to win and collect

• Building relationships with Registrars, Law Secretaries, judicial officers, tribunal registrars and PSU legal heads

• Running Judicial Academy demonstrations and Bar and Bench association programme

• Travelling regularly across States to meet courts, government departments and the team in person

Qualifications

• 14 to 16 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years selling to Indian government, judiciary or PSU buyers

• A record of filing and winning tenders and GeM bids personally, with working knowledge of EMD, PBG and DSC requirements

• Experience leading a small team 

• Comfort with 6 to 12 month sales cycles and treasury payment routes

• Fluency in Hindi and English

• A graduate degree in any discipline

Good to Have

• Experience selling legal research, e-courts or other technology products to the judiciary

• A law degree. We especially welcome lawyers who have moved into sales
