Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-orientedSoftware Quality Assurance Engineer to join our technology team and help ensure that our products are reliable, scalable, and deliver a seamless experience to our users.
You will work closely withProduct Managers, Software Engineers, Designers, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle to identify issues early, improve product quality, and ensure that releases meet the expected standards.

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, You will:

• Design, develop, and executetest plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on product requirements.
• Performfunctional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to investigate and reproduce reported issues.
• Participate inrequirement analysis, sprint planning, and product discussions to ensure testability and quality from the early stages.
• Validate new features and ensure they meet business and technical requirements before release.
• PerformAPI testing and validate integrations between different systems and services.
• Conduct cross-platform and cross-browser testing where applicable.
• Maintain clear and accurate QA documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect reports.
• Supportrelease and deployment activities by performing pre-release and post-release validation.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and overall product quality.
• Work closely with the engineering team to identify opportunities fortest automation and continuous improvement.
• Monitor production issues and support root-cause analysis when required.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree inComputer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Software Quality Control or a similar role.
• Strong understanding ofsoftware testing methodologies and QC processes.
• Hands-on experience withmanual testing and test case design.
• Experience working withAPI testing tools such as Postman.
• Familiarity withSQL and database validation.
• Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such asJira.
• Good understanding ofAgile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience withautomation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• Familiarity with programming languages such asJavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience withCI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Experience testingweb and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of performance, security, or accessibility testing.
• Experience working in aproduct-based or EdTech environment.
