The program 

Helping locals and regulars feel at home in our store and providing great customer service. 

The Australian Red Cross Shop Volunteer is a voluntary position with responsibility supporting the Store Manager in the efficient and effective running of the shop. The store is operated by Belmore Red Cross branch as a fund raising activity. 

The opportunity 

If you have a flare for retail and presentation we would love to hear from you! 

This role would suit someone who enjoys customer service and is comfortable handling money. Responsibilities include sorting, labelling, serving customers and counting takings. It would be suitable for someone who can make an ongoing weekly commitment.  

The impact 

As an Australian Red Cross Shop Volunteer, you will provide a positive experience and a much needed service to the customers at the Australian Red Cross Belmore shop; whilst raising money for Australian Red Cross. Australian Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the World’s largest humanitarian network.  

Application requirements

• For this role you will be required to undertake a National Police Check, organised through Australian Red Cross
• You must be at least 15 years of age (QLD – You must be 16)
