Job Type:Full-Time, Exempt

Location:Buffalo, NY

Department:Operations

Reports To:VP, Operations

About Us:

TechnoGuard Inc. is a fast-growing leader in data center containment solutions and mission-critical services, headquartered in Sterling, Virginia. Our engineered, scalable hot and cold aisle containment systems are trusted across the data center industry — and because design, manufacturing, and installation all happen in-house under one roof, we take ideas from concept to installed system faster than almost anyone else in the space.

Backed by patented technologies and a dedicated R&D group, we solve complex data center challenges with practical, innovative solutions. At TechnoGuard, you’ll join a tight-knit, forward-thinking team where your ideas move quickly from sketch to prototype to installed product — and where your work quite literally helps build the infrastructure behind the digital world.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Branch Manager to lead the launch and operational buildout of TechnoGuard’s new office location in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, outside of our Virginia headquarters. This role will establish the new site from the ground up, overseeing facility setup, staffing, regulatory compliance, local business development, and the creation of operational processes that align with company standards and values. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment within an established company, demonstrates strong leadership and sound decision-making in an independent setting, and has a proven track record of successfully opening or scaling new locations.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

New Location Setup & Operations

  • Lead all aspects of opening a new office, including supporting leadership with site selection, buildout, vendor coordination, and facility readiness.
  • Establish local operational workflows that align with headquarters standards while optimizing them for the new market.
  • Implement workplace policies, safety standards, and quality controls.

Leadership & Team Building

  • Train the initial team for the new office and field operations.
  • Develop a positive, high-performance culture that reflects company values.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and leadership development.

Business & Market Development

  • Represent the company locally and help build brand presence in the new region.
  • Identify local business opportunities, partnerships, and community engagement strategies.
  • Analyze market dynamics and provide feedback to headquarters on opportunities and challenges.

Financial & Performance Management

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management for the new location.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Prepare ongoing performance reports and recommendations for executive leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with headquarters teams, including HR, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and IT, to ensure a seamless launch.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between headquarters and the new office, ensuring alignment and transparency.
  • Implement corporate initiatives and ensure compliance with company-wide standards.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure the new office complies with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain appropriate licensing, certifications, and workplace safety protocols.
  • Mitigate operational risks and address issues proactively.

What Success in This Role Looks Like:

  • Establishing and launching a new office location with effective facilities, staffing, and operational processes.
  • Building a positive, high-performing team and culture from the ground up.
  • Operating independently with strong accountability while maintaining alignment with company standards.
  • Identifying local business opportunities and providing actionable market feedback to headquarters.

Maintaining operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and clear performance

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of management or operational leadership experience, ideally in multisite, construction industry, retail, or startup environments.
  • Proven success in opening, scaling, or independently managing a branch, facility, or office.
  • Strong business acumen and P&L management experience.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel to headquarters as needed during launch and ongoing operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing out-of-state or remote teams.
  • Industry-specific knowledge, if applicable.
  • Background in process development or organizational scaling.
