Branch Manager – Agency Channel

About The Job:

• We are seeking an experiencedBranch Manager to lead the Agency Channel business at the branch level.
• The candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, recruiting and developing insurance advisors, managing the agency sales team, and achieving branch business targets while maintaining high standards of customer service and regulatory compliance.

Essential Job Functions:

• Drive branch-level life insurance business and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop insurance advisors and agency sales professionals.
• Lead, motivate, and manage the agency development team to improve business performance.
• Drive advisor activation, productivity, retention, and recruitment targets.
• Develop and execute branch-level business plans and sales strategies.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, sales meetings, and training sessions.
• Build strong relationships with advisors and support them in lead generation and policy closures.
• Monitor premium collection, policy issuance, persistency, and renewal business.
• Identify local market opportunities and expand the agency distribution network.
• Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations, KYC requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and ensure quality business sourcing.
• Submit regular business performance reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in the Life Insurance industry.
• Strong experience in the Agency Channel is mandatory.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing an advisor network.
• Experience in team management, agency recruitment, and business development.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage branch operations and drive business growth.
• Target-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable with field sales activities.
