Job Type: Full-Time

Location: South Bend, Indiana

Work Schedule: 70% in-office, 30% in the field

Job Overview:

TheBranch Manager is responsible for overseeing sales growth, inventory management, vendor relations, and operational efficiency within the distribution network. This role ensures seamless operations by optimizing supply chain processes, developing strong vendor partnerships, and driving customer satisfaction through effective sales and client development strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Development (30%)

• Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the customer base and drive revenue growth.
• Identify new business opportunities and nurture existing client relationships.
• Work closely with the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Conduct field visits (30% of time) to engage with clients, address concerns, and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.

Inventory Management & Vendor Relations (30%)

• Oversee inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
• Develop relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and supply chain efficiencies.
• Monitor demand forecasting and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
• Implement inventory control procedures to reduce waste, shrinkage, and inefficiencies.

Operations & Efficiency (40%)

• Streamline distribution and logistics processes for optimal efficiency and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.
• Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to assess performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead and mentor operational staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: 5+ years in sales, distribution, inventory management, or operations leadership.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, vendor negotiations, and sales strategies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams.
• Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
