About the Position:Â
Orbis Clinical is looking for a(an)Recruiter who will beresponsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for specialized positions across the Life Sciences industry, supporting clients withinMedical Device,pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical research, MedTech, and related organizations. This role partners closely with account management and business leadership to understand client hiring needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, identify and engage highly qualified talent, and successfully manage candidates frominitial outreach through interview, offer, onboarding, and assignment completion. Develop and maintain strong candidate pipelines, build long-term relationships with consultants and industry professionals, and contributing to revenue and gross margin goals through successful placements and redeployment. The Recruiter also serves as a market expert, staying current on talent trends, competitive activity, compensation, and hiring demand across assigned Life Sciences disciplines.

What You'll Do:​Â
Participate in planning with team leadership to identify recruiting and sales strategies, client needs, and methods that will achieve the highest order fill rates.
Provide input on the enhancement of systems, process flow, or benefits.
Leverage the company database to further expand the network of qualified candidates through referrals and other channels.
Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals, to source potential candidates.
Create and post job descriptions and advertisements to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
Conduct interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Identify candidates' critical success factors by utilizing effective interview techniques, including behavioral and situational questions.
Qualify candidates for open positions and submit to client facilities per submission guidelines.
Manage the submission, interview, offer, negotiation, closing, and all administrative components involved in recruiting.
Strategize with account managers to maximize interviews and offers, resulting in a higher submission-to-placement ratio.
Negotiate all components of the candidate’s package while being mindful of individual and team gross margin goals.
Extend offers of employment on behalf of the strategic business unit (SBU) to selected clinicians under the direction of the client facility and SBU leadership.
Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires, including coordinating start dates, preparing pre onboarding materials.
Maintain strong communication with candidates via phone and email from the initial application throughout their assignment serving as a point of contact for employees, providing support and guidance.
Work closely with contract employees to identify redeployment opportunities and facilitate transitions to new assignments.
Ensure all recruitment activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Stay informed on industry trends, innovative recruiting techniques, and competitor information to remain competitive in sales.
Recommend enhanced recruitment strategies and new approaches to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.Â
What You Bring:Â
Three or more years of recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition experience preferred.
Experience within Medical Device, Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical research, MedTech, scientific, engineering, or other specialized professional staffing environments preferred.Â
Demonstrated ability to source and recruit specialized professional talent in competitive markets.Â
Experience managing candidates throughout the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, submission, interview preparation, offer negotiation, onboarding, and redeployment.Â
Experience working in a metrics-driven staffing environment with an understanding of placements, revenue, gross margin, candidate activity, and recruitment performance metrics preferred.Â
Ability to develop strong relationships with candidates, account managers, clients, and internal stakeholders.Â
Possess an overall knowledge of business functions and understanding of services, business strategy, policies and procedures, and job’s impact to the organization.
Work with electronic hardware and software applications specific to the role.
Work independently, see business needs and proactively accomplish them for the betterment of their team and the organization.
Analyze work, set goals, develop plans of action, utilize time. Informing: Proactively obtain and share information tailored to the audience.
Attend to the needs and expectations of customers.
Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 Annually
The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This position may also be eligible to participate in a company incentive plan and/or commission plan.
