Senior People Partner

About the role

At Boku, our People team is evolving alongside our business. We're looking for aSenior People Partner to become the trusted partner for ourAPACregion, partnering with leaders across multiple countries to shape people strategy, drive organisational effectiveness and support our next stage of growth.

This is a highly visible role where you'll work with stakeholders at every level—from people managers through to senior executives—to solve complex business challenges through people-focused solutions. You'll bring commercial thinking, strong influencing skills and a data-led approach to help leaders make informed decisions that strengthen performance, engagement and talent.

Working as part of our global People team, you'll balance strategic business partnering with hands-on delivery, leading initiatives across talent management, organisational design, performance, engagement and change. What you'll be doing

As our Senior People Partner, you will:

• Partner with business leaders across the APAC region to align people strategy with business objectives.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from managers through to senior leadership.
• Coach and advise leaders on organisational effectiveness, leadership capability, performance and employee engagement.
• Use people data and analytics to identify trends, provide insights and recommend actions that improve business performance.
• Support talent management and succession planning initiatives across the region.
• Partner on organisational design and transformation projects, ensuring the business is well positioned for future growth.
• Champion a high-performance culture through initiatives that strengthen engagement, performance and development.
• Support business transformation and organisational change programmes.
• Partner with the wider global People team to ensure a consistent employee experience while adapting solutions for regional needs.
• Provide expert guidance across the employee lifecycle, partnering with leaders across a diverse range of APAC markets.
• Help shape the future of the People function by contributing ideas, challenging thinking and continuously improving how we work.

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced HR professional who enjoys operating as a strategic business partner in a dynamic, international environment.

• Significant experience in a People Partner, HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role.
• Experience supporting leaders across the APAC region.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence, coach and constructively challenge senior leaders.
• Experience partnering with geographically distributed teams.
• Demonstrated experience leading people initiatives across talent, organisational change, performance and engagement.
• Confidence using people data and analytics to generate insight and inform business decisions.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment with changing priorities.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Experience within fintech, payments or another high-growth technology business.
• Knowledge of AI and automation trends within HR.
