Axis Bank�s (BIU):This is a high profile team with a mandate to drive data based decisions within the bank. Reporting in to Head Banking Operations and Transformation, this department works with all businesses of the bank including retail, small business and corporate to drive analytics. In terms of functions, the department has teams focused on all aspects of analytics for the bank including risk analytics, financial crime analytics, business and marketing analytics, building predictive scores, data engineering and business reporting.
AbouttheRole

Analytics is one of top focus areas for the bank and this position represents opportunity to be part of high growth teams driving innovation. The role requires leading a Vertical of Data engineering & Business Reporting team primarily focusing on Implementing� Self-serve BI Dashboard Solutions , drive implementation of Star Schema Data Model for consumption of data in Business Dashboards and Analytical Insights .
Key Responsibilities

Data engineering:

�        Drive the team to understand and review the business requirements.

�        Enable interactions with Requirements, Coding, Policy and Testing team to ensure execution of projects.

�        Spearhead Design & Development of complex computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on user defined requirements in WTMS

�        Overview code, programs, tests, and analyzes new application software for complex changes in Blaze/TRAID

�        Ensure that First Datas development methodologies are documented and world class and standards are followed

Reporting:

 

�        Drive �Self-serve BI solutions to transform the information consumption landscape.

�        Understand the data sources for various data requirements across the horizontal area

�        Assess appropriateness of the data model architecture to build BI Dashboards.

�        Support and contribute to the ongoing initiatives aligned with business priorities

�        Handling analytical requirements of Business Vertical with passion for designing, building and automating standard business processes/reports/ Business intelligence and Analytical dashboards.

�        Develop and share best practices with multiple stakeholders

�        Exploring and implementing alternate data modeling and segmentation techniques�

�        Ensure flawless & timely delivery of projects

Qualifications

 

Post-graduation or B.Tech, M Tech

 

Role Proficiencies:

Proficiency in:

 

�        Relevant experience working on production grade projects experience in hands on, end to end development.

�        Must have good knowledge of TRIAD  i.e. Blaze and wTMS.

�        Must have basic knowledge of unix, COBOL and SQL to support the project.

�        Must be able to understand and review the business requirements.

�        Interact with Requirements, Coding, Policy and Testing team to ensure execution of projects.

�        Understanding on TRIAD linkage files.

�        3-8 years of experience
