Site Reliability Engineer/Cloud Engineer Intern Job Description 

Ready for a challenging and rewarding internship?The role will work closely withcross-functional teamin acollaborativeenvironmentto ensure high availability, performance, and automation of systems while gaining hands-on experience in cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and site reliability engineering principles.Our goal is to enhance and support cloud-based transformations, andtofocused on pushing capabilities forward, staying ahead of customer needs and innovating for continuous improvement.

This position will be based inBirmingham, AL. Interns will be onsite at the Birmingham headquarters.  

Responsibilities 

• Supportthe team to ensure system reliability, scalability, anduptime. 

• Assistto incident response and root cause analysis to improve system resilience. 

• Helpmonitor and maintain cloud resources to ensureoptimal performance and costefficiency. 

• Activelyparticipate brainstorming sessions, and technical discussions and provide suggestions. 

• Participate in automation andcontinuous process improvementcycles.  

• Work alongside senior team members on assignedtask. 

Qualifications: 

• Working on a BS degree in a computer related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering) 

• Familiarly with SREprinciples 

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies (Google Cloud preferred) 

• Familiarity withweb technology,DevOps monitoring tools 

• Familiarityof DevOps practices (e.g. CI/CDpipelines,containerization, andorchestration) 

• Must be self-motivated and know when to seekguidance.  

• Individual must bea self-starter and capable of working independently as well as part of ateam. 

• Eagerness to learnnew technologies and adapt to a fast-pacedenvironment. 

• Strong critical thinking,problem-solvingandoperation supportskills.
