Bindery Finishing Operator | 1st Shift | $18/hr | Cincinnati, OH

We are seeking an experiencedBindery Finishing Operator to set up and operate print-finishing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience producing high-quality printed materials while meeting production deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust bindery equipment, including paper cutters, folders, stitchers, collators, and binding machines.
• Perform cutting, folding, trimming, stitching, laminating, and binding operations.
• Read job tickets and follow production specifications.
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Meet production deadlines while following safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial printing, bindery, or print finishing.
• Experience operating paper cutters, folding machines, stitching equipment, or similar machinery.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read measurements and follow job specifications.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials as needed, and meet production goals.

Preferred Experience: Polar, Challenge, MBO, Stahl, Heidelberg, Müller Martini, Duplo, Horizon, Kluge, or Bobst equipment.
