Billing Support Specialist I
$23.66 - $30.43 | Hybrid with in person reporting to Duluth, MN

Play a key role in delivering accurate customer billing and maintaining critical customer information systems by managing transactions, analyzing reports, and supporting system enhancements. Combines technical expertise, attention to detail, and customer service to ensure reliable operations and a positive customer experience.

What you'll do

• Process billing, account maintenance, and metering transactions in customer information and related systems to support accurate customer billing and strong data integrity.
• Review reports, investigate discrepancies, and help resolve billing or system issues while ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
• Provide support to customers and internal users through phone, email, and other communication channels, delivering excellent service and troubleshooting assistance.
• Assist with maintaining procedures, testing system enhancements, and supporting ongoing improvements to customer, billing, and metering systems.
• Work closely with administration, operations, and field personnel to support efficient meter-to-cash processes and ensure customer information is handled with accuracy and confidentiality.

What you'll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent PLUStwo or more years related experience.
  OR
• Associate degree or higher in administrative/office support, business administration, or related field.

• Have a general understanding of billing and related accounting processes, and strict confidentiality to assure customers’ right to privacy.

The expected hourly compensation range for this position is $23.66 - $30.43. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, and experience. Additionally, this position qualifies for a comprehensive benefits package including:
