Puretec Industrial Water is a family-owned leader in water treatment solutions, converting municipal water into highly purified deionized water for industrial applications across the Southwestern United States. We are seeking a Billing Specialist to keep our delivery and service billing accurate and on schedule. This role reconciles and audits orders, resolves discrepancies, and coordinates closely with drivers, service technicians, and customers to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

• Process and bill service orders
• Audit and bill delivery orders for all branches to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Reconcile delivery and service orders daily to support accurate, timely invoicing
• Identify, communicate, and resolve billing discrepancies promptly
• Notify customers in advance of upcoming deliveries and service visits, and provide real-time updates on changes or delays
• Follow up after service or delivery to ensure customer satisfaction
• Respond to customer emails and phone inquiries professionally and promptly

• Identify and recommend improvements to billing, routing, and field processes

Secondary Responsibilities

• Plan and route drivers and service technicians to ensure efficient daily coverage

• Manage daily schedules for service technicians across all locations
• Coordinate emergency service requests and routine MMA visits
• Evaluate and improve route structure to increase productivity and reduce delays
• Conduct ride-alongs to reinforce safety, compliance, and best practices
• Serve as an after-hours contact for customers and drivers as assigned
• Provide administrative and operational support and cross-training to colleagues as needed

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize

• Ability to manage schedules and shift priorities as the day changes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with route planning and delivery coordination
• Effective communication with internal teams and external customers
• Proactive, customer-first mindset with a positive, professional attitude

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education and Experience

• 5+ years of billing experience preferred

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role

• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
