Patient Support Staff (Bilingual Spanish-English)

Make a difference in your community by helping patients navigate healthcare and access the resources they need. As a Patient Support Staff member, you will serve as a link between patients and their healthcare team, providing interpretation, care coordination, and support throughout the patient experience.

What You'll Do

Provide bilingual support and medical interpretation for patients and providers
Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, labs, and specialty services
Help patients access transportation, community resources, and assistance programs
Screen patients for Social Determinants of Health (SDOH)
Document patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR)
Answer phones and provide excellent customer service
Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

Qualifications

Fluent inEnglish and Spanish (required)
High school diploma or GED
Strong communication and customer service skills
Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
Must complete Medical Interpreter Training within 90 days of hire
