Position Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $280,000–$320,000 annually
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Bilingual Chinese-Speaking Pediatrician to join a medical practice serving children and families across New York. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive pediatric care, support children’s growth and development, and communicate effectively with patients and their families in both English and Chinese.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine pediatric examinations, wellness visits, and developmental assessments.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage common childhood illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
- Monitor children’s physical growth, developmental milestones, and overall health.
- Administer and manage vaccinations in accordance with recommended immunization schedules.
- Provide preventive care, nutritional guidance, and age-appropriate health education to parents and caregivers.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care.
- Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive health recommendations in English and Chinese.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with applicable healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency program.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics.
- Active New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Fluency in English and Chinese; Mandarin and/or Cantonese proficiency should align with the clinic’s patient population.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, family-centered pediatric care.
- Previous outpatient pediatric experience preferred.
