Job title- Bilingual Chinese Speaking Family Nurse Practitioner
Location- Brooklyn, NY
Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and acute care management. This role requires a compassionate individual who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
  • Cardiology Experience required
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
  • Manage acute pain management strategies and administer injections as necessary.
  • Provide telehealth services to enhance patient access to care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient encounters accurately using electronic health record systems such as Cerner.
  • Perform procedures such as gastric lavage when indicated.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in urgent care, ICU, PICU, and ophthalmology settings.
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
  • Certification from a recognized national certifying body (e.g., AANP or ANCC).
  • Experience in acute care settings preferred, including urgent care or ICU experience.
  • Proficiency in coding for medical billing purposes is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating leadership skills when necessary.
