Responsibilities
- Unify disparate datasets and perform basic data cleansing. Create dashboards on various established metrics.
- Translates complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic decisions, uncover trends, and drive continuous improvement across security datasets.
- Leverages data storytelling to influence decision-making, highlight opportunities, and ensure key insights resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Designs, builds, and maintains interactive dashboards that deliver clear, actionable insights.
- Innovates continuously by identifying opportunities to automate manual reporting processes, reduce user burden, and improve the quality and timeliness of insights.
- Proven experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) in the development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Detail oriented and proven self -starter with ability to work independently and within teams.
- Excellent judgment and ability to analyze issues quickly and independently to take appropriate action.
- Understanding of cyber security and technical concepts including cloud literacy strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Build and enhance dashboards to support:
- Vulnerability tracking and remediation heatmaps.
- Security leadership KPIs.
- Text stack modernization initiatives.
- Partner with team members (e.g., Kaushik/Judge contractor, Wei Wang, and Rich/ FT crew) to:
- Analyze and interpret large data sets.
- Support dashboard ownership and provide deeper insights than current team capabilities.
- Tell a compelling data story to inform strategic decisions across security teams.
- SQL – Strong querying skills are a must.
- Python – For data manipulation and integration.
- Tableau – Ability to not just maintain but drive improvements in dashboards.
- AWS Cloud Services – Especially S3 and Redshift; experience with modern data stacks in a cloud environment.
- Data Engineering Concepts – Understanding of structured and semi-structured data; ingesting large data sets into Redshift.
- security/Vulnerability Management – Highly preferred.
- Understanding of vulnerability data (e.g., from scanning tools related to OS, applications, and infrastructure).
- Ability to translate vulnerability metrics into meaningful, story-driven dashboards and KPIs.
- Fraud and Risk Analytics – Beneficial but secondary to cybersecurity domain knowledge.
