Schedule: 10 am - 7pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday; 10 am to 6 pm Thursday or 11 am - 7 pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday; 10 am to 6 pm Thursday
Role and Responsibilities
- Collect fees from client’s legal guardians and placing agencies as services are rendered, handling money and processing credit cards.
- Responsible for the review of documentation for accuracy to include, but not limited to Financial Resources Form, Financial Agreements, daily logs and notes to assure continuity of care and timeliness of documentation.
- Prepares and mails letters and resource materials to parents/agencies.
- Request information from outside agencies providing services to families being served by YFT.
- Maintain filing and organizational system for clinical staff.
- Responsible for maintaining supply inventory as well as daily distribution of supplies to field staff.
- Documents and forwards complaints to appropriate staff member.
- Handle correspondence and respond to routine requests.
- Demonstrate cultural competence and behaviors consistent with the core values, vision, and mission of YFT.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and staff information.
- Present a positive image of YFT to clientele, visitors, and co-workers.
- Attendance at all training mandated by YFT and respective governing entity to include but not limited to maintaining current CPR/First Aid certification, Handle with Care certification, Adult Mental Health First Aid and annual TB test/screening.
- Complete all new hire and annual training in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned by the CEO or supervisor.
- All duties and responsibilities will support meeting the structured program of care for outpatient counseling centers at Youth For Tomorrow.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year providing customer services.
- Knowledge of and some proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management.
- Demonstrate a high degree of skill in problem solving and working effectively with people.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Detail Oriented.
- Flexibility with schedule.
- Ability to communicate effectively and serve as a liaison to primary referral sources, families, team members, school districts, community agencies, and signatory partners.
- Some knowledge of clinical terminology is preferred.
- Any combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties described above.
- Ability to serve as the first contact for primary referral sources (often families) and assist in understanding and navigating the complex system of services and support.
