About Bharat Banking

The increasing income diversification, evolution of the tech stack, various government schemes to improve livelihoods, and integrating the country via roads and the internet have provided strong tailwinds to the rural and semi urban (RUSU) or �Bharat� markets.

To better capitalize on the growth runway and �open the world of possibilities� for the Bharat customer, the bank has set up a separate �Bharat Bank� vertical. It is an amalgamation of products and geography, handling certain core products across the country and all the products in the RUSU branches.

The objective is to accelerate the growth journey by expanding distribution reach via branches, partnerships, and digital presence, creating tailored products and processes, and using the One Axis strategy to harness synergies in all parts of the Bank to deliver to the Bharat customer.

The Bank also continues to focus on growing the book profitably by enhancing productivity, improving operational efficiency to reduce cost, and containing risk by leveraging technology such as AI and ML & rigorous portfolio monitoring.

The program aims to provide timely credit facilities to Individual Farmers Farmer funding to meeting all their cultivation, farm maintenance, consumption and investment needs

Why does the role exist?

n To support Farmer Funding business team by creating right product, process and required enablers including technology and appropriate tools to extend loans to the individual farmers.

What is its contribution towards the organization?

n This role contributes in Product development and designing appropriate processes within RBI regulatory framework for Farmer Funding business and responsible for leading and managing end to end product related initiatives and functions.

Key Responsibilities

�        Product Designing, Development, and Deployment

o   Define Product strategy

o   Gather market intelligence through customer �

o   Ensure CMC and other required approvals

o   Lead/anchor all discussions with Sales, UW, Risk, Ops, BSG, IT, BIU, DBAT to ensure high quality development (incl. conducting UAT)

o   Project management and Deployment in coordination with BSG, IT and other stakeholders

o   Determine and manage all aspects related to product success (product pricing, skills sets needed, headcount to manage business) its changes if any

o   Jointly own development and ongoing maintenance of key product related technology systems and channels together with IT, BSG, DBAT (and any others)

o   Build and drive partnerships for product/ proposition development as well as rollout/ commercialization

�        Process and Policy improvisation and Training

o   Define processes and drive improvements required to run the product; discharge process related responsibilities

o   Content development for online training modules/Training manuals/EDMs/SOPs

o   Organize classroom trainings/leadership trainings for various level employees

o   Develop content Axis Competency Profile and ensure 100% Participation & Pass Percentage

o   P&L responsibilities

o   Developing proposals and SOPs for new projects/proposals/strategic partnerships (BC partners, Cross-selling, New Products, New Projects, New Processes, and more)

o   Develop BRD, AOPM, Coordinate with BSG and IT for developing appropriate software

o   Improving business profitability through appropriate process and cost controls�

Qualifications

Optimal qualification for success on the job is:

�        MBA in Agri business with relevant experience

�        Experience of 15+ Years in Financial Services and Agri Business Industry
