The PCA II delivers basic patient care and provides comfortable measures to maintain the patient care environment.  This positionwill have scheduled hours in both the clinical function and clerical function of the department and performs routine clinical skills for patient care, which includes taking vital signs, weight, height,  per policy or as directed by physician or nurse.  The PCA II is responsible for patient flow, chaperoning, stocking of rooms, ordering of tests and supplies. The PCA II is also responsible for service delegated by the RN or physician and interacts with other department personnel to maintain timely patient flow to provide appropriate care and quality customer service.

Requirements:  HS Diploma/GED.  PCA training or actively enrolled in a health care related education program.  CPR Certified.  1-2 years previous experience preferred.
