This position is responsible for:Supporting the Salvation Army Christmas Program by greeting the public and collecting donations at assigned kettle locations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ring bells for The Salvation Army Christmas Program at assigned locations.• Ensure the kettle is never left unattended.
• Greet the public courteously and promote a positive image of The Salvation Army.
• Follow instructions and conduct duties according to Salvation Army ministry and Christian principles.
• Maintain responsibility for all assigned materials, including kettle, tripod, bell, and apron.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to stand for extended periods outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry light objects (less than 25 lbs).
• Work involves exposure to cold, wind, and outdoor noise; appropriate dress is required.
• Must be punctual and reliable.

• No formal education or experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to follow directions and work with limited supervision.
• Friendly and courteous demeanor with the public.
• Understanding of and commitment to The Salvation Army mission and values.
• Ability to stand outdoors for extended periods.

Licenses and Certifications:
• Valid State Driver’s License may be required depending on location assignment
