Role OverviewÂ
Provides immediate supervision and technical guidance to a quality team supporting manufacturing operations. Oversees daily quality activities, inspection workflows, and quality documentation to ensure products meet established standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations. Supports implementation of quality systems, continuous improvement initiatives, and effective resolution of production quality issues while developing team capabilities.
What You’ll Do...
- Supervise daily activities of quality technicians and support personnelÂ
- Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure quality activities are completed to production schedulesÂ
- Support implementation and maintenance of quality control processes and inspection standardsÂ
- Review inspection plans, work instructions, and quality documentation for accuracy and complianceÂ
- Support APQP activities, including development and execution of control plans under guidance from quality leadershipÂ
- Monitor quality performance metrics and escalate issues impacting production or customer requirementsÂ
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations teams to identify and resolve quality concernsÂ
- Support investigations of product and process issues through root cause analysis and corrective actionsÂ
- Assist with nonconformance management, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activitiesÂ
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, customer requirements, and internal quality proceduresÂ
- Support internal, customer, and third-party audit activitiesÂ
- Coach and mentor quality team members on inspection methods, quality standards, and problem-solving practicesÂ

You have...
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
Experience
- Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related quality, manufacturing, or inspection experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities; or equivalent work experience
Skills & Competencies
- Working knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing processesÂ
- Understanding of AS9100 and ISO9001 quality standardsÂ
- Experience with inspection processes, control plans, and quality documentationÂ
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsÂ
- Effective communication and interpersonal skillsÂ
- Ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentÂ
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and quality requirementsÂ
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detailÂ
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and production demands
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

- Experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, or regulated manufacturing environmentsÂ
- Experience supporting APQP processesÂ
- Familiarity with quality software systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES)Â
