Bear River Valley Hospital Volunteer Position: Information Desk

Volunteer Description:

Availability is limited to the following shifts: Monday, 9 a.m.–noon; Thursday, noon–3 p.m.; or Friday, 9 a.m.–noon.

Information Desk Volunteers welcome patients and visitors, provide directions, answer questions, and help create a positive hospital experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients, visitors, and staff
• Provide directions, information, and escorts as needed
• Assist with wheelchairs
• Keep the desk area organized and welcoming

Qualifications:

• Friendly, dependable, and professional
• Strong communication skills
• Able to maintain confidentiality
• Able to stand, walk, and push a wheelchair as needed

Commitment:

• One three-hour shift per week
• Six-month minimum commitment
