We are recruiting on behalf of a law firm client seeking a Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring Associate to join its Boston or New York office.

This opportunity is suited to an attorney with significant restructuring experience who enjoys complex matters, meaningful client responsibility, and working closely with senior attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent debtors, creditors, and official committees of unsecured creditors in Chapter 11 cases and other restructuring proceedings.

• Draft and argue motions, participate in bankruptcy court hearings, and manage contested matters.

• Advise on corporate restructurings, out-of-court workouts, and insolvency-related disputes.

• Manage multiple complex engagements while collaborating with colleagues and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience at a comparable law firm.

• Significant experience in corporate restructuring and bankruptcy court practice.

• Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical, writing, advocacy, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a collaborative team.

• J.D. and admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of the primary office required.

• Judicial clerkship experience preferred.
