IQVIA is looking for a confident and compassionateBank Research Nurse in Derby to support a patient living withSpinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA)who is taking part in a clinical trial.

This is an ideal opportunity for a nurse who enjoys providing high-quality, one-to-one patient care and is comfortable working autonomously. The requirement will beapproximately one patient visit per month, making this a great option for someone looking for occasional, flexible nursing work.

Your Responsibilities

During patient visits, you will be responsible for clinical activities including:

• Carrying outurinalysis
• Recording and monitoringvital signs
• Phlebotomy and blood sample collection
• Investigational Product (IP) administration
• Administeringinfusions
• Providing professional, patient-centred nursing support
• Completing required documentation accurately and in a timely manner

What We’re Looking For

The successful nurse will ideally have:

• A nursing degree or equivalent qualification
• Current NMC registration and PIN
• Ideally paediatric experience
• Strongphlebotomy skills
• Experience administeringIV infusions
• Experience with medication or investigational product administration
• Confidence carrying out vital signs and other routine clinical observations
• The ability towork independently and autonomously
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A professional, compassionate and patient-focused approach
• Flexibility to attend a patient visit in theSheffield area approximately once per month
• Current DBS would be an advantage
