Job Overview

We are hiringFood Production Mixersfor a local bakery in Greensburg, PA! In this role, you will prepare cookie batter using industrial mixing equipment while following established recipes, production instructions, and food safety procedures.

This is a great opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a food production environment and can handle the physical demands of the job.

Multiple openings are available on 1st and 3rd shifts!

Pay & Schedule

1st Shift Mixer – $16.00/hour

• Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
• 2 positions available

3rd Shift Mixer – $17.00/hour

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 PM–5:30 AM
• ​​​​​​​1 position available

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix cookie batter using industrial-sized mixing equipment.

• Measure, weigh, and combine ingredients according to recipes and production specifications.

• Follow production instructions to ensure consistent product quality.

• Load ingredients into mixing equipment, including lifting bags and containers weighing up to50 pounds.

• Monitor mixing equipment and batter consistency throughout the production process.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cross-contamination prevention procedures.

• Wear required protective clothing and equipment while working in food production areas.

• Follow company procedures for safe equipment operation and report any equipment or product quality concerns to a supervisor.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to50 poundsregularlyas required by the job.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.

• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to follow recipes, written instructions, and food safety procedures.

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced bakery production environment.

• Ability to follow all workplace dress code, hygiene, and sanitation requirements.

• Previous food production, bakery, mixing, or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Required Food Safety & Dress Code

Because this position involves handling food products, employees must follow strict hygiene and proper work attire requirements,including but not limited to no false eyelashes, no nail polish/false nails, no jewelry, aprons, hair nets, beard guards, closed toe & closed heal shoes, etc.

Employees must comply with all company food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene policies.

Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
