Backup and Storage Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experiencedBackup and Storage Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise storage and backup environments. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, data protection, and disaster recovery readiness across the IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and optimizestorage systems and backup solutions

• Configure and monitorSAN/NAS environments

• Implement and managebackup, replication, and archiving policies

• Ensuredata protection, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity

• AdministerWindows Server environments and Active Directory

• Performsystem health checks, monitoring, and performance tuning

• Troubleshoot and resolveinfrastructure and storage-related issues

• Maintain accuratetechnical documentation and procedures

• Collaborate with internal IT teams to improve infrastructure efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, IT, or related field

• Minimum7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management

• Strong expertise inSAN/NAS storage and archiving solutions

• Hands-on experience withbackup tools (Data Domain, Networker)

• Proficiency in:

  • Windows Server & Active Directory

  • Virtualization platforms (VMware, VxRail, Hyper-V)

• Experience withinfrastructure monitoring tools

• Solid understanding ofDisaster Recovery (DR) & Business Continuity

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Arabic speaker is required

• Saudi-based candidates preferred
