Required Technical Skills

• Experience managing large-scale, global projects with responsibility for overall delivery quality.

• End-to-end implementation experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), specifically Siemens Opcenter (formerly Camstar).

• Experience in solution architecture and MES implementation.

• Hands-on experience with Camstar Designer and CIO.

• Experience with Camstar/Siemens Opcenter upgrades.

• Experience leading requirements definition and MES implementation of the factory model.

• Strong domain knowledge of Life Sciences manufacturing.

• Understanding of interfaces between Camstar MES and external applications, including:

  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

  • Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)

  • Manufacturing equipment

  • Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI)

• Understanding of Computer System Validation (CSV) processes.

• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Function as the Solution Architect and Technical Lead for the Siemens Opcenter/Camstar MES implementation.

• Develop and manage upgrade plans for the MES application.

• Design, code, and develop CIO maps and workflows.

• Lead requirements gathering and define manufacturing processes and factory models.

• Manage the overall site implementation of Camstar MES.

• Ensure the solution meets business, manufacturing, and technical requirements.

• Coordinate MES integration with ERP, LIMS, equipment, HMI, and other external applications.

• Support system upgrades, configuration, development, testing, and implementation activities.

• Ensure delivery quality across all project phases.

• Distribute tasks and responsibilities among team members.

• Coordinate project activities and resolve technical and functional issues.

• Support computer system validation activities and ensure compliance with applicable processes.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to achieve project objectives.
