Ultimate Hoops Basketball Instructor

Position Summary

The Ultimate Hoops Basketball Instructor provides best-in-class, educational basketball programming for our elective camps and clinics. The role organizes, instructs and implements safe, fun and entertaining activities. They may assist with other Ultimate Hoops programs as well. This position is seasonal with an opportunity for long term hire

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Constructs and implements weekly/monthly basketball lesson plans following our guidelines.
• Assists with additional Ultimate Hoops programming, including, but not limited to tournaments, events, camps, and clinics.
• Promotes all Ultimate Hoops programming in order to increase participation.
• Sets up 15 minutes before and cleans up after each program.
• Leads a group of up to 10 campers ages 6-12 through basketball activities, with a positive and outgoing attitude while acting as a role model

Position Requirements

• 6+ months of basketball training experience teaching children ages 6 – 12
• Ability to demonstrate and participate in the activity or skills that are being taught
• Completion of all required learnings prior to first day of work

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
