About the team: 

  • We are a part of one of the leading service providers in Loan Syndication having end-to-end services provided
  • The process involves aligning the Trustee’s cash accounts with the internal bookkeeping system and producing cash flow as the result for the client
  • Cash Reconciliation: Team is responsible for performing end-to-end Cash Reconciliation for Syndicate Loan products and investigation of breaks. Monitoring unapplied and unmatched wires.

 

What you will be doing 

  • Manage operational processes across Syndicated Loans, CLOs, CDOs, Bonds, Bank Loans, and Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS).
  • Perform cash reconciliation activities, investigate cash breaks, and resolve unapplied wire transactions by coordinating with internal functional teams.
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure timely completion of deliverables and adherence to client deadlines.
  • Coordinate with team members during high-volume periods to maintain operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), risk controls, and governance requirements.
  • Identify, investigate, and promptly escalate operational exceptions, process gaps, and client-impacting issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance controls, accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain a strong focus on service delivery, meeting SLAs, KPIs, and client expectations.

 

What you will need:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Financial Services, preferably in Syndicated Loan Operations, with exposure to CLO/CDO products.
  • Strong understanding of cash flows, cash reconciliation, and break investigation.
  • Sound knowledge of financial products, including Syndicated Loans, CLOs, CDOs, Bonds, Bank Loans, and Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS).
  • Hands-on experience in cash and stock reconciliations, trade processing, and settlement activities.
  • Good understanding of Capital Markets, Portfolio Accounting, Security Setups, and Asset/Cash Reconciliation processes.
  • Ability to independently manage reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and drive issues to resolution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and risk awareness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and consistently meet SLAs and client deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.

  • Experience participating in automation and process transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to client migrations, onboarding projects, and process transitions.
  • Experience leading or contributing to process improvement and operational excellence projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Syndicated Loans, CLO/CDO structures, and Capital Markets Operations.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI/ Automate and other automation tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with data analysis, management reporting, and dashboard creation.
  • Familiarity with operational risk, controls, and regulatory requirements within Financial Services.
