Senior Reporting & Insights Analyst

Job Description:

The role of the Senior Reporting & Insights Specialist at Mars Inc. is pivotal in the creation and maintenance of business intelligence tools aimed at generating high-quality insights and analyses for the functional area of MAS (presumably, Mars Associate Survey), Legal and Associate relation with WD. By leveraging these tools such as WD, PowerBI, Qualtricsthe specialist will empower key stakeholders within the People & Organization (P&O) department with improved data literacy and analytics capabilities, thereby facilitating informed decision-making processes. 

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations: 

• Lead the delivery of an exceptional partner service by implementing strategic reporting insights through self-service and automated solutions, ensuring compliance with data privacy and internal processes.  

• Maintain 100% compliance with established processes, while actively reducing the number of outstanding tickets and ad-hoc requests.  

• Design, build and document standardized reporting & dashboarding solutions & offer, with proactive approach fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration within the team, listening our partners and theirneeds. 

• Drive continuous improvement, innovation andcontributeto team initiatives for efficiency gains, simplify & enhancement the user experience. 

• Drive the capability building of our partners around reporting & data. 

• Connect & partners with other companies and workday & analytic user group to win and develop new solutions for Mars. 

• Building & developing effective solutions using a range of data transformation & analytic tools in response to business requirements (workday reporting/Prism/PowerBI dashboard ..) 

Leadership: 

• Serve as a subject matter expert on the Workday platform (for MAS or any Mars Signature Processes, legal and associate relation) performing administrative functions including business process administration, security, and Integration support.  

• Leading the MAS, Legal & AR functional reporting as a thought leader and trusted expert to deliver strategic outcomes and business value, providing analytical reporting and insight support. 

• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to influence and drive acceptance of change across the organization. 

• Consistently turn analysis into insights and develop a story behind the data that demonstrates the impact on business.

• Consistently and actively use a data-based decision-making approach balanced with independent judgment. Is seen & valued by stakeholders as a strong expert in reporting, able to consolidate data points from different data sources and with a robust understanding on how business works and what matters to make an impact.  

Influencer: 

• Partner with COE, GPO and other key stakeholders, provide input and influence the functional roadmap. 

• Support to develop and maintain a prioritized pipeline of continuous improvement initiatives. 

• Leverage opportunities to drive standardization,automation, and self-service within reporting processes.  

• Conduct rigorous AAR where appropriate and drive further optimization. 

Driver (Activator): 

• Drive functional reporting capability building internally within reporting team and externally with stakeholders and customers. 

• Create and develop functional knowledge hub including FAQs, Knowledge Articles,HTGs, and other documentations about MAS. 

• Provide critical input into MAS operational process as well for other aread supported 

Insights 

• In partnership with functional & process leads (COE and Global Process Leads/ P&O Solutions team), design & align on a roadmap of deployment of the new reporting and insights solutions for the defined domain, govern and validate new requirements and ensure the execution. 

• Act as the single reporting & insights point of contact (SPOC) forMAS/AR/Legalarea. 

• Act as needed in all other functional areas when workload requires.  

• Run periodical analysis of KPI/cases raised for his area, being first level of escalation spoc forMAS /AR/Legal, and lead agenda to continuously improved ofMAS /AR/Legal  

• reporting area. 

Innovator: 

• Have strong learning mind-set in any new tools, solutions. 

• Lead solution assessment with Pros and Cons for Mars P&O reporting and insight. 

• Collect business case internally and externally for solution effectiveness testing. 

• Design, develop &Deployreporting prototype partnering with functional reporting SMEs and key stakeholders.

Job qualifications:

• Minimum qualification: university degree or equivalent, preferably in HR, Management Systems 

• Advance knowledge in Excel, PowerBI and other standard reporting and visualisation tools (ability to keep informed about leading edge technologies and their application to P&O and workforce metrics) 

• Strong experience usingdaily anHCM/Workdayand/ orequivalent. 

• Understand how people PPPs work and support our business ambition. Demonstrate curiosity and strong appetite and ability to learn 

• Successfulexperience inproducing and using HRmetrics/reporting andworkforce planning 

• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with the abilityto collect, organize, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information from different sources with attention to detail and accuracy 

• Demonstrate the ability to be a self-starter and take initiative/ ownership, adaptive and flexible to new ideas and change 

• Abilityto work independently and efficiently, with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Understand how organisation works andwhat matters to business leaders
