Job Title : School Nurse

Schedule : Monday - Friday : School Hours

(with potential for bus rides or after school needs )

Compensation :

• LPN : $38/hour
• RN : $48/ hour
• Weekly pay - direct deposit

Position Overview :

We are currently hiring nurses to provide 1:1 care for a student in a school setting.

Nurses will provide one-on-one care in a school setting.Must be comfortable caring for patients with G-tubes and PEG tubes, as well as providing ventilator and tracheostomy care. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring the patient’s condition, documenting care, and communicating changes to the care team and family.

You will work closely with school staff, families, and our clinical team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care and support each student’s health and well-being.

Qualifications :

• LPN/ RN License issued by NYS
• Current CPR/BLS Certification issued by AHA
• Pediatric or School Nursing experience Required
• Ability to work independently in a school setting
• Communicate with families , school staff , and healthcare providers

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient care duties and treatments as per care plan.
• Provide health promotion, counseling, and education.
• Administer medications and other personalized interventions.
• Coordinate care, in collaboration with a wide array of health care professionals.
• Document nursing notes regarding patient care daily.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand/work for extended periods
• Additional responsibilities as required.
