The Facilities Mechanic supports a multi-building pharmaceutical packaging facility / cGMP environment in Allentown, PA. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Safelyoperate and maintain warehouse and production buildings including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BAS, fire life safety systems, doors,elevators and buildingenvelope. 

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and document work in CMMS. 

• Guide vendors and obtain quotations for maintenance and replacement projects. 

• Conduct inspections, rounds and readings; respond to BAS alarms. 

• Support facilities projects, GMP/GDP compliance, capitalplanning and operational improvements. 

• Work extended hours as needed. 

• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors. 

• Identify code, safety, energyefficiency and sustainability compliance gaps. 

• Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications 

• 5-8 years of facilities mechanic or MEP trade experiencerequired. 

• Biopharma cGMP experiencestrongly preferred. 

• Familiarity with BAS controls preferred. 

• Strong HVAC, analytical, technical,communication and organizational skills. 

• Ability to read drawings and blueprints. 

• Experience with CMMS,QMS and Microsoft Office. 

Education and Experience 

• High School Diploma or GED. 

• Certification and/or licensure in one or more trades preferred.
