Key Responsibilities
- Build and support Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI Foundry environments for enterprise data, AI, and machine learning initiatives.
- Design and maintain Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for applications, AI/ML models, Fabric workloads, and cloud infrastructure.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Support Azure AI/ML services, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure Machine Learning, AKS, ACR, containerized workloads, and model deployment pipelines.
- Establish security, governance, and compliance controls using Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, RBAC, Azure Policy, Managed Identity, Key Vault, and Azure networking.
- Partner with security and data teams to implement data governance, access controls, security monitoring, and protection of sensitive data and AI workloads.
- Develop automation using PowerShell and Python to improve platform reliability, deployment efficiency, and operational support.
- Implement monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Collaborate with data engineering, data science, security, and application teams to accelerate adoption of Fabric and AI/ML capabilities while maintaining secure and scalable environments.
- 5+ years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or SRE experience, including 3+ years working with Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including supporting or administering Fabric environments, workloads, deployments, or integrations.
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry and/or Azure Machine Learning, including AI/ML deployment and MLOps workflows.
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, YAML-based CI/CD pipelines, and source control.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Experience with AKS, Docker, Helm, ACR, and containerized workloads.
- Strong understanding of Azure identity, security, networking, governance, and compliance.
- Experience with Microsoft Purview and/or Microsoft Defender, particularly around cloud/data security, governance, compliance, or workload protection.
- Proficiency with PowerShell and/or Python automation.
- Experience implementing governance and security controls across Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI, and enterprise data platforms.
- Experience supporting GPU-enabled AI/ML workloads and model-serving platforms.
- Familiarity with Databricks and broader modern data/AI architectures.
- Knowledge of data governance, data classification, lineage, access management, and security monitoring concepts.
- Azure certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or related credentials.
