Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedDevOps Engineer with 7+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise inKubernetes, Microsoft Azure, CI/CD automation, scripting, infrastructure management, and production troubleshooting. You will play a key role in improving deployment efficiency, system reliability, scalability, and security across enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications usingKubernetes (AKS preferred).
• Build and maintainCI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure onMicrosoft Azure.
• Develop automation scripts usingPowerShell, Bash, Python, or Shell scripting.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance and proactively resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot complex production incidents across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such asTerraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Configure and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to streamline release processes.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices, governance standards, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for system reliability and deployment efficiency.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience inDevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Strong hands-on experience withKubernetes and container orchestration.
• Expertise inMicrosoft Azure services, including AKS, Azure DevOps, Azure Networking, and Azure Storage.
• Experience in designing and managingCI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Strong scripting skills inPowerShell, Bash, Python, or Shell scripting.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such asTerraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Hands-on experience withGit version control and branching strategies.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills in production environments.
• Experience with monitoring tools such asPrometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, ELK, or Splunk.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration.

Preferred Skills

• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400).
• Experience with Docker and container security.
• Exposure to SRE practices, observability, and incident management.
• Knowledge of security scanning and DevSecOps methodologies.
