Position Overview

As an experiencedAZ-licensed driver, your primary responsibility will be operating a tractor-trailer, with additional requirements to drive truck-and-pup combinations. This role involves travel throughout Ontario, as well as out-of-province and U.S. routes.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work.
• Takes care of the truck and equipment, ensuring they are maintained responsibly.
• Prioritizes safety and consistently follows company policies and procedures.
• Works independently and takes initiative without the need for constant supervision.
• Is comfortable with regional and long-distance travel, including out-of-province and U.S. routes.
• Represents the company professionally when interacting with customers and the public.
• Must reside in the Goderich area.
  

Requirements

• Valid AZ driver’s license.
• Valid passport and eligibility to travel into the United States.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating truck-and-pup trailer combinations.
• Clean driver’s abstract.
• Strong understanding of safe commercial vehicle operation and applicable safety procedures.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Dependable, professional, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Flexible and available to work weekends when required, primarily during the seasonal period from May to August.
• Able to travel throughout Ontario, Quebec, Atlantic Canada, and the United States.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
