The position RTRis responsible for managing end to end RTR activities including period end close activities, fixed asset management, intercompany transactions, balance sheet reconciliation, financial and management reporting, local statutory and tax support for APAC region. 

 
Whatyou’ll Do 

• Coordinate with business controllers to ensure accuracy and timeliness in 

• processing General Ledger (GL) entries at the month/yearend closing activities. 

• Responsible to prepare the monthly balance sheet reconciliation and ensure that all the accounts are reconciled accurately. 

• Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly andannually financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance. 

• Identifying trends, patterns, and potential issues in the financial data. 

• Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support and complete the financial tasks assigned.  

• Proactively work with the team lead/manager toidentify, propose,an implement continuous process improvement and automation initiatives within the RTR function to increasethe efficiency. 

• Maintain and update the internal controls framework, ensuring compliance with company policies. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, includingAP/AR/Cash Management team to support business requirements. 

• Responsible to assist in forecast and budgeting.

• Assist in ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis as needed. 

About you: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance with min 5 years of relevant working experience 

• Good knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP & well versed in MS Excel 

• Fluent written and spoken English and Japanese are required to effectively communicate and support Japanese entities and stakeholders.
