Overview 

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for accurately processing purchase orders for general and specialized medical supplies, clinical supplies, medical equipment, services, and consulting with suppliers. The Procurement Specialist processes all purchase order types along with completing the full end-to-end process as part of the procure to pay functions.  Provides consultation to internal customers on Purchasing Operations and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system policies and processes. This position requires close contact with business owners to provide guidance on Workday, product and service options, order status, and pricing information for complex purchases 

Education 

• Associate’s level degree or higher (Preferred) 

Experience 

• 3 years healthcare purchasing agent experience (Required) 

• 3 years Healthcare Procurement Software Systems/ERP (Required)
